HELPFUL INFORMATION

SET UP YOUR MUSKINGUM UNIVERSITY EMAIL ACCOUNT

After you are enrolled, you will receive a welcome email from ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University with your ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» username and a temporary password. Your official ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University email account is required to access key student systems, including Canvas, MuskieLink, and other University resources.

To set up your email account:

  1. Log in to through ÈËÊÞÐÔ½»â€™s email portal
  2. Use the ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» username and temporary password provided in your welcome email
  3. Complete your initial account setup and required security steps

If you have trouble accessing your email for the first time, email cns@muskingum.edu for support.

RESET OR CHANGE YOUR MUSKINGUM PASSWORD

Your ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University password is used to access key systems including email, Canvas, and other student portals. If you need to reset or update your password, you can manage it online at any time.

Computer and Network Services (CNS) offers several ways to get support, both online and by phone. The  is available on CNS webpages to help you troubleshoot common issues, use self-service tools, and submit a request when needed. CNS also provides live technology assistance for ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University students.

Online support tools can help with:

  • Password reset guidance and account access
  • Email login support
  • Canvas and system access troubleshooting
    • If you are having trouble navigating your course in Canvas (assignments, due dates, modules, or grading), start with your instructor first. Your instructor can confirm whether the issue is course-specific before CNS provides technical support.
  • Basic troubleshooting for devices, browsers, and connectivity
  • Access to CNS technology help articles and self-service resources

These tools are available 24/7 and are often the fastest way to resolve issues—especially outside normal business hours.
