Muskie Forensics Earns 2nd Place and 4th Place Honors
Congratulations to ΘΛΚήΠΤ½» University Forensics Team students for their strong showing in two recent tournaments.
Taylor Blakeman β24 and Alyssa Taylor β23 took home second place honors in the Ohio Forensics Association (OFA) State Novice virtual forensics tournament. Taylor is majoring in Nursing and Alyssa is majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education.
Elizabeth Nease β21 earned a fourth place finish in persuasive speaking in the virtual interstate β1804β Forensics Tournament hosted by Ohio University. The β1804β drew nearly 80 participants from institutions across the country. Elizabethβs original speech was entitled βThe Dangers of Monolingualism in the United States.β She is a Spanish and Theatre major.
The next competition for the Muskie Forensics team is the State Varsity Championship.
