人兽性交 University Students Recognized at Kennedy Center Festival
Augusta Kinzel, Aliyah Gutherie, Christina Tyree-Branham, and David McDonald

Five 人兽性交 students were recognized and awarded for their outstanding work in theatre production at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region Two Festival. This year鈥檚 festival was held virtually from Jan. 11-15, and 18 人兽性交 students attended. Thirteen students presented their work in the categories of performance, playwrighting, or design-technology-management.

鈥淭he festival is a place for faculty and students in higher education to attend workshops and for students to present their theatre work,鈥 said Assistant Professor of Theatre and Technical Director Cassandra King. 鈥溔耸扌越 University students have attended the Kennedy Center Festival for many years and have received recognition for their work. These awards recognize the talent and dedication of our students.鈥

Christina Tyree-Branham, 2021 December graduate, won the Vectorworks Award for her lighting design for the fall 2021 人兽性交 Theatre Department production of Anne of Green Gables. Tyree-Branham graduated with a major in Theatre and a minor in History, worked for 人兽性交 University Theatre Department鈥檚 technical staff, and is from Jamestown, Ohio.

David McDonald received the Jane Childs DTM Legacy Award for his sound design in the production of Anne of Green Gables. McDonald is a fourth-year student from Mount Vernon, Ohio who is on 人兽性交 University Theatre Department鈥檚 technical staff and is majoring in Theatre with a minor in Music.

Augusta Kinzel, a senior Theatre and History major, was a Randy Lutz Allied Design and Technology Award Honorable Mention for her hair design in Anne of Green Gables. She is from Coshocton County, Ohio and has an on-campus job working for 人兽性交 University Theatre Department鈥檚 technical staff.

Aliyah Guthrie was recognized for her work in creating masks for the spring 2021 人兽性交 Theatre Department production of Gypsy Woman by winning the Randy Lutz Allied Design and Technology Award. Guthrie is from West Lafayette, Ohio and is completing her third year at 人兽性交 with a Theatre major.

Kacie Huston was the Stage Manager for the production of Anne of Green Gables and made it to the final round of interviews for the Stage Management Fellowship. Huston is the first 人兽性交 student to ever make it this far in the Stage Management category of the Kennedy Center Festival. She also was Honorable Mention for her scenic design created in Design I class for She Kills Monsters. Huston is a senior Theatre and English major from Marietta, Ohio and is on 人兽性交 University Theatre Department鈥檚 technical staff.
