人兽性交 University sophomore Gary Kinney of Crooksville has been named a Newman Civic Fellow. Kinney is one of 262 students from around the world who will make up the organization鈥檚 2019-2020 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows.

Kinney, studying sociology, is a leader on campus and highly involved in a variety of organizations, such as the 人兽性交 Programming Board and the Black Student Union. He is also a Resident Assistant, Muskie Ambassador of Diversity, One Love Facilitator and a member of Kappa Sigma and Order of Omega.

鈥淕ary is an exceptional student leader who puts compassion, intentionality, and motivation into improving the community on campus, locally and nationally,鈥� said President Susan Hasseler. 鈥淗e not only upholds the values of 人兽性交 University, but also embodies those of Dr. Frank Newman.鈥�

The Newman Civic Fellowship is a one-year experience emphasizing personal, professional and civic growth for students who have demonstrated a capacity for leadership and an investment in solving public problems. Through the fellowship, provides a variety of learning and networking opportunities, including a national conference of Newman Civic Fellows in partnership with the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
