Brewed Awakenings: Student Community and Leadership
人兽性交 University鈥檚 Brewed Awakenings student-run coffeehouse offers weekly opportunities for students to engage with each other and build community, while learning more about the wide variety of organizations across campus.
Once known on campus as Kelley Coffee House, Brewed Awakenings takes place every Thursday evening during the semester in the Chess Center. The free coffee shop offerings include hot and iced coffees, teas, and other refreshers, along with flavored creamers and syrups, and light snacks.

Each week, a different student organization presents a program, providing opportunities to promote the organization while engaging and entertaining attendees. Events during 2023-2024 have included Phi Kappa Tau鈥檚 annual 鈥淢uskies Got Talent,鈥 Chi Alpha Nu鈥檚 Pumpkin Painting, karaoke with Delta Gamma Theta, the Black Student Union鈥檚 Bonfire and Karaoke night, the History Club鈥檚 Haunted History of Halloween, the World Language Club鈥檚 celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Women Empowerment Club鈥檚 celebration of Women鈥檚 History Month, the Impact Center鈥檚 Wheel of Fortune night, and multiple, ever-popular, themed bingo nights.
Brewed Awakenings鈥 operations are led by a team of students supervised by Director of Student Engagement Sarah Dailey and are funded in partnership with Student Senate. The team members develop their skills in event promotion and management, budgeting, and efficiently sourcing and managing supplies.

Vice President for the Student Experience Shelley-Amstutz Szalay commented 鈥淏rewed Awakenings is a well-attended and longstanding part of the 人兽性交 culture, providing students with entertainment as well as hands-on learning experiences.鈥
