President Susan S. Hasseler, Ph.D. has appointed Jennifer J. Dugan, Ph.D. as 人兽性交 University鈥檚 new provost.

Dugan comes to 人兽性交 from the University of Pikeville, Pikeville, KY, where she served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences since 2019. As Dean, Dugan focused on the student experience by providing direction in the development and implementation of new programs and strategic collaborations with campus and community partners. She is an advocate for education and growth in the Appalachian region and beyond.

Dugan earned her doctorate in political science from University of California and her bachelor鈥檚 in political science from California State University. She is an American Council on Education Fellow (2009-2010) and has served on the Board of the Kentucky ACE Women鈥檚 Network.

Reporting to the president, the provost serves as the chief academic officer for 人兽性交 University, providing university-wide leadership for academic affairs. Dugan begins her appointment on July 1.
