Muskies Honored with Athletic and Academic Accolades
ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University student-athletes competing during the Spring 2022 sports season received national, regional, and Ohio Athletic Conference recognitions for their athletic and academic accomplishments.
Muskies from three sports achieved regional athletic accolades:
- catcher Devin Ryan ’22 was named D3baseball.com First Team All-Region 7 and ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-Region 7.
- All-Region Second Team honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) went to first baseman Haley Hawk ’22 and third baseman Katie Osburn ’22.
- Head Coach Craig Holycross was named USA ´¡°ù³¦³ó±ð°ù²â’s North Region Coach of the Year.
Fourteen student-athletes representing five Muskie teams received All-OAC athletic honors:

Remington McClung ’24 was named to USA ´¡°ù³¦³ó±ð°ù²â’s All-American Academic Team.
first baseman Haley Hawk ’22 was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 team.
student-athletes Kaylee Anstaett ’23, Emma Bachman ’23, and Jane Boyer ’23 were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes.

Additionally, it was recently announced that the ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» team was honored with the United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for their 2021-2022 season and that the team was honored for its excellence in the classroom by being named Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honor Roll Special Mention for their 2021-2022 season.
