Educator Preparation programs earn CAEP accreditation
Educator Preparation programs earn CAEP Accreditation

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Board has awarded 人兽性交 University鈥檚 educator preparation program full accreditation on all five national standards with no areas for improvement. This distinction reflects the quality of 人兽性交鈥檚 multiple teaching licensure programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

CAEP advances equity and excellence in educator preparation through evidence-based accreditation that assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen student learning in grades Pre-K through 12. It was created in 2016 as the result of merger of the former National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC).

The five national standards include 1) Content and Pedagogical Knowledge; 2) Clinical Partnerships and Practice; 3) Candidate Quality, Recruitment and Selectivity; 4) Program Impact; and 5) Provider Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.

CAEP鈥檚 rigorous evaluation process was conducted on the 人兽性交 University campus in October 2017, with on-site interviews and an extensive review by a 5-member CAEP team in coordination with the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The accreditation was awarded on April 30, 2018 and is valid through June 30, 2024. This six-year period is the longest accreditation term awarded by CAEP.

人兽性交 Professor of Education Rae White is the Director of the Educator Preparation Program and the Chair of the Education Department.
