Three-peat! nursing grads earn 100% pass rate for the third year
For the third consecutive year, 100 percent of 人兽性交 University nursing graduates passed the National Council Licensure Examination on their first attempt, the University announced today.
鈥淭hanks to the remarkable work of our students and faculty, 人兽性交鈥檚 nursing program is continuing to set itself apart as one of the most successful programs in the state,鈥� said 人兽性交 University President Susan S. Hasseler. 鈥淭his result, achieved each of the past three years, further demonstrates our deep commitment to our students and their success.鈥�
The nursing program at 人兽性交 combines the best of the institution鈥檚 liberal arts and sciences with a structured nursing curriculum to build a comprehensive Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) experience.
鈥淔ew nursing programs are fortunate enough to achieve this result three years in a row,鈥� said Dr. Cynthia Wilkins, director and chair of nursing programs at 人兽性交 University. 鈥淓very member of our faculty takes great pride in our students鈥� remarkable achievements and their work toward making an important and meaningful impact on their communities.鈥�
人兽性交 offers two programs in nursing 鈥� the bachelor鈥檚 degree program for traditional pre-licensure students and an adult (online) R.N. to B.S.N. program for established nurses wishing to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
In 2016, 人兽性交鈥檚 nursing program received a 10-year accreditation 鈥� the most that a program can be awarded 鈥� by meeting all four standards from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) (The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at 人兽性交 University is accredited by the Commission鈥痮n Collegiate Nursing Education (). Nursing programs choose to become CCNE-accredited as a mark of excellence in nursing education, Dr. Wilkins explained.
Students accepted into the pre-licensure bachelor鈥檚 degree program currently fulfill their clinical requirements at a variety of local and regional organizations and facilities, including Genesis Healthcare System, Nationwide Children鈥檚 Hospital, the Zandex Health Care Corporation facilities, the Zanesville-人兽性交 County Health Department, Rambo Memorial Health Center, Cambridge Behavioral Hospital, The Oaks at Bethesda and Franklin Local School District.
