人兽性交 well-represented at first Rural Education Forum
人兽性交 University was well-represented at the first Rural Educational National Forum in Columbus, held October 31 to November 1. The event was chaired by Dr. Barbara Hansen, 人兽性交鈥檚 Dave Longaberger Professor of Teaching and Learning, and Distinguished Professor of Education. Dr. Rae White, director of 人兽性交鈥檚 Educator Preparation Unit and professor of education, presented at the event. 人兽性交 University students were also in attendance.
A highlight of the event was an address by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. 鈥淚n today鈥檚 world, rural schools must be more globally connected than ever before and prepare students for a rapidly changing economy at home. They will produce the next generation of leaders in rural America, who will sustain and possibly reinvent their local economies,鈥� said Duncan.
The forum was the first rural-specific event co-hosted by the Ohio Department of Education and Battelle for Kids. The purpose was to bring leaders and practitioners together to advance conversations about rural education and long-term prosperity. In an effort to encourage regional attendance and leverage other successful rural work, the Ohio Department of Education and Battelle for Kids also partnered with the Kentucky and Tennessee Departments of Education to host this event.
