Student broadcasters Kurtz, Busby earn Orbit Media awards
Marty Kurtz, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, was named Broadcaster of the Year by 人兽性交 University鈥檚 student-run radio station, WMCO-FM. Brenna Busby, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, was named Broadcaster of the Year by the student-run television station, Orbit Television. Awards were announced at the annual 人兽性交 University Communication, Media & Theatre Department Reception April 1.
Busby, a junior majoring in English and communication, serves as an Orbit Television staff member, WMCO-FM鈥檚 news director and The Black & Magenta鈥檚 editor in chief. She is also the vice president of the 人兽性交 University Chapter Society of Professional Journalists. Kurtz, a senior media production major, serves as WMCO鈥檚 program director.
The University is home to three media outlets, known collectively as Orbit Media, including WMCO-FM, Orbit Television and The Black & Magenta student newspaper.
