人兽性交 University鈥檚 Director of the Master of Occupational Therapy Program, Dr. Mary Arnold, was recognized at a recent event as the 2018 recipient of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association鈥檚 (OOTA) Passion Award. OOTA鈥檚 Passion Award recognizes an individual member who exemplifies the spirit of the profession.

鈥淒r. Arnold represents the best example of what we strive to achieve in this profession. Her genuine enthusiasm and love for occupational therapy has been the driving force behind her many years of practice, and this passion has encouraged and motivated students, colleagues, and friends along their own paths to success,鈥� said Dr. Becky Finni, President of the OOTA.  鈥淲e are extremely pleased to recognize Dr. Arnold for her important work.鈥�

Each year, the recipient of OOTA鈥檚 Passion Award is given charge of a crystal vase that sits on a wooden base on which is inscribed the names of previous awardees.

In March, 人兽性交 University announced its plan to launch a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program. The University initiated the accreditation process by submitting a 鈥淟etter of Intent鈥� to the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Educators (ACOTE), and hired Dr. Arnold, OTD, OTR/L, FAOTA to lead the development of the new program.

Working with two-year Occupational Therapy Assistant programs around the country, the program under development is designed to allow students with an associate's degree to continue their education at 人兽性交 University and earn a Master of Occupational Therapy degree.
