Federal Pell Grant

This grant is a need-based awarded to students who have filed the FAFSA. Additional information is available at .  Pell Policy for Books and Supplies

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

This grant is a need-based awarded to students who have filed the FAFSA. Additional information is available at .SEOG awards are made to very high-need students from federal fund allocations to 人兽性交. Award amounts generally range from $500-1,000 per year, dependent on level of federal funding. Students must be Pell-eligible.

Federal TEACH Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant program provides non-need grant assistance to an undergraduate student who agrees to serve for at least 4 years as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. A TEACH Grant recipient who does not complete their required teaching within a specified time frame or fails to meet certain other requirements of the TEACH Grant program will be required to repay the TEACH Grant as a direct unsubsidized loan under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. The student must have the appropriate year FAFSA form filed.

Students who are interested in applying for the TEACH grant should review and complete the TEACH Grant Information and Application. If after reviewing your application we find that you are eligible for the TEACH grant you will be directed to complete the TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve (ATS) and Entrance Counseling at the . After Student Financial Services receives notification that the student has completed the Entrance Counseling and ATS, the student will be awarded the grant, the amount being determined by grade level and credit hours. Students who are awarded the TEACH Grant have 14 days to cancel the award. Contact the Business Office or Student Financial Services.

If you are planning to graduate you need to complete the required . It is very important that you complete the exit counseling as it will remind you of the TEACH grant requirements and obligations. It will also explain how to keep in contact with the Department of Education regarding your teaching status. If you are planning on attending graduate school you may be eligible to receive the TEACH grant as a graduate student.

Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG)

Recipients must be Ohio residents and must file the FAFSA and have an SAI of 3750 or less. Students who are part-time can receive pro-rated grants. The duration of a student鈥檚 eligibility to receive OCOG is limited to 8 semesters or its equivalent.

Choose Ohio First Scholarship

Choose Ohio First Scholarship awards are funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education and are intended to advance Ohio鈥檚 position in world markets in the areas of science and technology. The 人兽性交 COFS program is designed to increase the number of students entering and advancing in STEMM-related (science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine) fields of study. In accordance with state requirements, the scholarship carries with it a service obligation, which involves participation and leadership in activities to foster the development of current and future science students. Scholarship recipients must be Ohio residents. 

Second Chance Grant Pilot Program

The objectives of the Second Chance Grant Pilot Program are to reduce financial barriers preventing Ohioans with some college credit but no bachelor鈥檚 degree from returning to higher education and to increase the number of Ohioans with a degree or credential. The Second Chance Grant Pilot Program will provide financial assistance in the form of $2,000 grants to eligible students re-enrolling at a qualifying institution in order to obtain a degree or credential.

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities

The Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) will provide eligible students with financial assistance, while participating in OOD services, to be used for tuition or educational expenses during the 2024-2025 school year.

人兽性交 University often awards grants to full-time students demonstrating financial need as shown on the FAFSA. Award amounts generally range from $500-$13,000 per year. The size of grant is based primarily on the amount of need as determined by annually filing the FAFSA and availability of other grants and scholarships, though consideration is given to academic performance and abilities. In some cases students attending less than full-time may be eligible for a pro-rated 人兽性交 Grant.

Endowed scholarships are subsidized by 人兽性交 endowment funds restricted for financial aid.
