人兽性交 University鈥檚 Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program is hosting the inaugural Older Adults Health and Wellness Fair. Community members ages 65+ are invited to participate in activities that will provide tips and strategies for productive aging.

The event is Saturday, March 2, from 11 a.m. - Noon at 人兽性交鈥檚 Bullock Health and Wellness Complex (BHWC). The event is free; sign in and registration begin at 10:30 a.m. Handicap parking is available along with an accessible entrance and elevator to the BHWC. Family members and caregivers are welcome to bring and join attendees to learn more about occupational therapy.

Master of Occupational Therapy students will work with the attendees to share and practice what they are learning as part of the occupational therapy program. Participants will receive information related to home safety, fall prevention, driving, adaptive equipment and basic home modifications, maintaining physical activity, and overall wellness, while also learning about ways to save energy working smarter, not harder.

鈥淭he Master of Occupational Therapy program is excited to provide an event focused on health, wellness, and prevention for community members 65 years and older,鈥� said MOT Director Dr. Kim Lawler. 鈥淭he Bullock Health and Wellness Complex is the perfect venue for students to engage attendees in learning ways to maintain their health by participating in the daily activities they value and doing so safely. The students apply their knowledge by educating older adults about productive and safe aging, while the attendees benefit from the tips and ideas to stay active and live their lives to the fullest. It's a win-win for everyone who participates!鈥�

The event is an opportunity for occupational therapy students to apply what they are learning as part of their Elders Level I Fieldwork course. The Master of Occupational Therapy program at 人兽性交 University is a two-year bridge program for licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) and individuals with a health-related bachelor鈥檚 degree, preparing them to sit for the national examination for the occupational therapist, administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT^庐). The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
