Dr. Michael Malone named Associate Vice President for Student Affairs
人兽性交 University today announced the appointment of higher education veteran Dr. Michael Malone as associate vice president for Student Affairs. In this role, Dr. Malone will leverage 30+ years of experience to strategically manage all aspects of the Student Affairs Division while working directly with the provost, assistant dean of students, student affairs directors, and the title IX coordinator to contribute to the University鈥檚 success.
Dr. Malone brings a diverse background of building and sustaining a culture of excellence, while achieving university goals, to 人兽性交 University. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president of Student Affairs at the University of Hartford for 11 years. In this role, he deftly developed administrative processes and policies to address student retention through customer service, efficiency and inter-office effectiveness, oversaw responses to campus emergencies and student crises, and managed all aspects of career services and student success programs.
Previous to the University of Hartford, Dr. Malone held a number of leadership roles at Dickinson College, where he managed residential and student life programs and initiatives. Dr. Malone also worked in student life management at Bethany College and Eastern Connecticut State University.

Dr. Malone was graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a doctorate in educational leadership; from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a master鈥檚 degree in speech communication; and magna cum laude from Davis and Elkins College with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in communications.
