Campus Holiday Lighting Goes Green

LED holiday lights illuminate trees and lampposts on 人兽性交 University鈥檚 campus, spreading the beauty of the season and extending the University鈥檚 commitment to sustainability.

Led by Senior Director of Facilities and Physical Plant Kevin Wagner, Superintendent of Campus Facilities and Grounds Lee Rhodes, and Grounds Supervisor John Bugglin, the University鈥檚 physical plant staff began in early November to decorate with LED strands around Montgomery Hall, the Library Fountain, Brown Chapel, and on The Quad. The lights were ceremonially lit during 人兽性交鈥檚 annual Celebration of Light event.

The use of LED holiday lighting follows the University鈥檚 practice of installing cost-saving and energy-saving lighting fixtures and computerized controls as lighting replacements and facilities upgrades are completed.

For example, LED lighting fixtures and advanced controls are found throughout the Library, in the renovated Patton Dining Hall, and in the renovated hallways of the Steele Center, including the main athletic hallway featuring the Fighting Muskies wall mural.
