More than 100 人兽性交 University students along with faculty and staff honored the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving others Jan. 16. As part of a national Day of Service, students spent time organizing area food banks, playing games with residents of an area nursing home and supporting the services of area agencies and non-profit organizations.
Students participating in the toy adaptation project saw the results of their efforts to brighten the lives of children with disabilities when they visited Starlight School and delivered more than 10 toys. First-year engineering students, along with upperclassmen Staci Wilson and Warren Wilson, spent the fall semester adapting toys accessible for children with barriers to motor, tactile, or movement skills. The program began with Staci and Warren鈥檚 summer 2017 Muskie Fellows project under the direction of Professor Soto-Caban.

人兽性交 University Associate Professor of Psychology Dr. Hallie Baker has been selected as a Fellow of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). This coveted national honor recognizes outstanding leadership in gerontology and geriatric education. Gerontology is the study of aging and the issues facing the older population.
Orbit TV of Orbit Media, 人兽性交 University鈥檚 student-run media organization, placed fourth in the category of Best Documentary/Public Affairs at the College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) National Student Production Awards for the piece, 鈥淛ohn Glenn: An American Hero.鈥� The award was presented at the 2017 National Student Electronic Media Convention, held in San Antonio, Texas in late October. Nationally, there were more than 850 entries for the production awards within 25 categories.
Several 人兽性交 University students teamed up with faculty members over the summer and fall to follow the progression of grassland habitats for various bird species at The Wilds. The data collected is part of an ongoing research project tracking the changes in bird ecology and habitat use over time.
Following a nationwide search, experienced academic leader Dr. Nancy J. Evangelista has been selected as 人兽性交 University鈥檚 Provost, the University announced today. In the role of Provost, Dr. Evangelista will serve as chief academic and student affairs officer, responsible for all traditional undergraduate academic programs, student affairs and related initiatives. Dr. Evangelista will take office in January 2018.
Students from 人兽性交 University鈥檚 Science Division and other academic disciplines presented their research and internship findings at the university鈥檚 annual Fall Research and Internship Forum, held October 26 on campus. Students presented their findings in a poster format that is typically associated with professional presentations in the sciences.

Former 人兽性交 University men's basketball standout Joshua Keyes ('17) has signed a two-year professional contract to play basketball for CS Cruza Sport Braila in Braila, Romania.
Keyes, a Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and All-OAC Tournament selection, ended his Muskie tenure as the school record holder in career blocks (143), single-season blocks (61), single-game blocks (6) and career rebounds (725). He also scored 863 points during his four-year career.
Beginning in the fall of 2018, dining at 人兽性交 University will look and feel much different. The University recently unveiled plans to completely overhaul Patton Dining Hall, currently the largest dining space on campus.
Inspired by student feedback, the plans include a top-to-bottom redesign that will offer several new dynamic food stations and result in additional meal options. A wood-fired pizza oven, mobile phone charging tables and a variety of high top and traditional seating options are included in the plans.
In effort to make a positive impact on their community, a pair of undergraduate engineering students at 人兽性交 University partnered with a faculty member over the summer on a project to adapt interactive children鈥檚 toys for children with disabilities.
