Storytelling Panel: 鈥淪peaking Globally: Real Stories鈥

A virtual storytellers panel, 鈥淪peaking Globally: Real Stories,鈥 was recently hosted by 人兽性交 University Forensics, the Arts and Humanities Division, World Languages, and Special Events. 

The panel featured faculty, staff, and students sharing their experiences speaking a second (or more) language.  It was emceed by Rachel Pollock, Assistant Professor of Communication and Director of Forensics.

Artworks Inspired By Nature Exhibit

Twenty-six artworks from 人兽性交 University鈥檚 permanent collection were on exhibit in Palmer Gallery from March 3-18, 2021.

The works included six Paul Patton 鈥淩ix Mills Remembered鈥 paintings. Folk artist Paul Patton, 1921-1999, was a native of the 人兽性交 County village of Rix Mills, Ohio, and his works recall life there in the 1920s and 1930s.

Athletics:

Alan Swank 鈥77 Joins Institutional Advancement Staff

人兽性交 alumnus Alan Swank 鈥77 has joined the University鈥檚 Institutional Advancement staff as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving.  

An Akron native, Alan earned his 人兽性交 Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After five years as a public school history teacher and coach, Alan led a 34-year career in the school annual yearbook business with Taylor/Balfour yearbooks as a senior sales representative and regional sales vice president. 

Hannah Houser 鈥17 Ministers to the Deaf Community

人兽性交 University alumna Hannah Houser 鈥17 was recently recognized for her work ministering to the deaf community, as she pursues her religious vocation.

In a profile by The Catholic Telegraph, Hannah reflected on her call to serve. She is an Associate with the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, and is currently in discernment on her path to join the order.
