ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» Students Support Straker Foundation Literacy Initiatives

ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University has recently partnered with The Straker Foundation to help promote literacy initiatives in the greater community. Students majoring in AYA Language Arts, AYA Art Education, and Middle Childhood Education were selected to serve as judges for The Mary Helen Straker Award in Writing competition.

Three ÈËÊÞÐÔ½» University students placed at the Ohio Forensics Association State Varsity competition on Feb. 18.

In the Persuasion category, Milayna Williams, a history and Spanish major from Columbus, Ohio placed third, and Amber Bowering, a psychology and communication studies major from Bellevue, Ohio placed sixth.

In the Broadcasting category, Megan Groves, a communication studies and media production major from New Lexington, Ohio placed third.
