Teacher Apprenticeship Consortium to Tackle Teaching Shortage

On March 1, 人兽性交 University, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, hosted a collaborative meeting focused on the creation of a teacher apprenticeship program in Ohio to address the shortage of qualified teachers in the 人兽性交/Ohio Valley region.

Night of Impact Honors Muskies

人兽性交 University鈥檚 Night of Impact celebration on February 3, 2023, inducted the newest members of the University鈥檚 Athletic Hall of Fame and recognized Class of 2023 senior student-athletes from across all 25 varsity sports.

Professor Richard Arnold: Teaching and Research in Poland

人兽性交 University Associate Professor of Political Science Richard Arnold recently completed a five-month Fulbright Scholar experience in Poland, from September 2022 to February 2023.

Dr. Arnold鈥檚 research expertise is the post-Soviet region, particularly the Cossack movement and its role in both Ukrainian and Russian national identity. In early 2022, he received a Fulbright grant for teaching and study in Ukraine. His experience was relocated to Poland after war was declared.

人兽性交 Holds 5th Annual Day of Giving: March 14-15, 2023

人兽性交 University will hold its fifth annual Day of Giving, beginning March 14 at 6:00 a.m. and continuing for 1,837 minutes of celebration until 12:37 p.m. March 15, 2023.

This year鈥檚 Day of Giving theme is ALL IN for 人兽性交. Our Muskies are ALL IN for their classroom, co-curricular, and athletic activities, and our faculty and staff are ALL IN for our students.

Laudations is an online collection spotlighting the professional contributions 人兽性交 University faculty and staff make to their respective disciplines.

ART

Works by Morgan Free, Assistant Professor of 3D Art, are displayed in a solo exhibition entitled 鈥淟oving Something Doomed鈥 at the in Oberlin, Ohio, from February 14-April 2, 2023. The closing reception is April 1 from 1-3 p.m.

Music Muskies Road Tour 鈥23

人兽性交 University music students presented their first road performance tour since the pandemic.

The Wind Ensemble conducted by Associate Professor of Music Dr. David Turrill, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers conducted by Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Daniel Strychacz, and Muskie Rocks conducted by Professor of Music Dr. Laura Schumann launched their tour on campus with a concert in Brown Chapel on March 1.

Theatre Students Recognized at Kennedy Center Festival

Several 人兽性交 University students have been recognized for their outstanding work at the Region Two Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, held in January 2023.

Theatre and Media Production major Kailyn Shalosky 鈥24 won first place in Lighting Design for The Secret in the Wings. This award qualifies Kailyn to attend the National Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, to be held in April 2023 in Washington, D.C.
