人兽性交 University Students Recognized at Kennedy Center Festival

Five 人兽性交 students were recognized and awarded for their outstanding work in theatre production at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region Two Festival. This year鈥檚 festival was held virtually from Jan. 11-15, and 18 人兽性交 students attended. Thirteen students presented their work in the categories of performance, playwrighting, or design-technology-management.

The Class of 2026: Prospective Muskies Attend Scholarship Days

Nearly 370 prospective members of the Class of 2026 attended 人兽性交 University鈥檚 recent Scholarship Day Programs for high school students who have applied and been admitted to the University.

Nearly 200 students visited campus on February 19, 2022 for an in-person program, with nearly 170 attending a virtual program on February 26, 2022.

Visitors to campus traveled from as far away as Florida and as close as New Concord. Virtual visitors logged on from as far away as Arizona.

Palmer Gallery Exhibit Featured Artists Impacted by Zanesville Masonic Temple Fire

人兽性交 University鈥檚 Louis O. Palmer Gallery hosted the 鈥淣ew Year, New Arts 2022鈥 exhibit from January 25 through February 16.

54 new artworks by Artists Colony of Zanesville members were featured.

Many of the group members lost their works, studio spaces, and supplies when a tragic fire struck the historic Zanesville Masonic Temple on January 6, 2022.   Some of the artworks originally selected for the exhibition were among those destroyed in the fire.

Students Assist Zanesville City Council Redistricting

人兽性交 University Professor of Political Science Walter Huber and Associate Professor of Geology Stephen Van Horn are leading their students in helping Zanesville City Council redistrict their political wards in response to the 2020 census. The project marks the third time that 人兽性交 students have helped Zanesville with redistricting, including in 2000 and 2010.

Weathering the Storm

On the evening of Feb. 3, power went out on the 人兽性交 University campus for 26 hours. The winter storm that crossed the Midwest, blanketed the campus with freezing rain, ice and snow, which resulted in the loss of power.

How did 人兽性交 University weather the storm?

At the start of each winter season, 人兽性交鈥檚 emergency management team reviews the plans for canceling or delaying classes or closing campus because of inclement weather. Throughout the season, the team closely monitors the forecast and potential impact to campus to make those decisions.

Students Celebrate Black History Month and Women鈥檚 History Month

人兽性交 University鈥檚 student organizations have taken initiative to celebrate both Black History Month and Women鈥檚 History Month.

Black Student Union (BSU) planned a variety of events during February to celebrate and bring awareness to Black history. Events included Black History Trivia, a basketball game support night, Martin Luther King Reflection Walk, Brewed Awakenings and a karaoke night.
